Philosopher Alva Noë recently wrote an opinion piece in the New York Times titled “Art and the Limits of Neuroscience.” Hmmm…I wonder if he read by The Age of Insight by nobel winner Eric Kandel (still on my reading list). Trying to define art is not simple—it has always been debated. How we process visual art, however, is a different matter. I really do think John Dewey said it best when he referred to “art as experience.”
